Born and raised in Chicago’s Englewood neighborhood, Chef Nyree first discovered her love for cooking alongside her father, whose joy in the kitchen sparked her own passion for the craft. Her talent quickly became evident, earning her a place in the esteemed Careers Through Culinary Arts Program (C-CAP), where she began shaping her path as a chef.
Nyree went on to attend Monroe College in New Rochelle, NY, where she refined her technique. Her professional journey began at MARTA under Chef Lena Cairdullo, followed by PST under Chef Erling Wubower. She later joined the team at PERILLA Fare as a Line Cook, where her precision, creativity, and leadership continued to grow.
Today, Nyree serves as Sous Chef at PERILLA Steakhouse, bringing her experience full circle.
